Dublin Dogos team

Why play rugby?

Rugby is known to be a character-builder sport. The World Rugby members union defined the core values of rugby as:

  • Integrity
  • Passion
  • Solidarity
  • Discipline
  • Respect

To play rugby is to become a member of a new family. Rugby players around the world are united by the same values. Solidarity and respect are shown inside and outside of the pitch.

Rugby is a sport that trains the body and the heart. The bonds created between teammates from a club last for a lifetime.

Friendship in rugby
